About Gina

“I help people free themselves from fear and debilitating conditions by enabling them to make positive changes so they can live the full and happy life they desire.”

I am a qualified Clinical Hypnotherapist and Strategic Psychotherapist, a Master NLP Practitioner and a qualified Remedial Massage Therapist.

 

I have always had a personal interest in helping people. When working as a massage therapist, I grew to appreciate the connection between the mind and the body, which fueled my curiosity to dive deeper into this fascinating field. I became interested in hypnotherapy and psychotherapy after studying NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming). I experienced first-hand the power of the mind to change thoughts and to impact behaviour positively.

 

As a practising hypnotherapist, I have witnessed the power that each person possesses to make positive changes and overcome a wide range of conditions.

Anxiety

If you are experiencing thoughts and feelings that are causing you to have anxiety, you are not alone. Anxiety, Social Anxiety and fear-based issues are the number one reason people come to Hypnotherapy.

We may have fears about things such as spiders, needles, heights or dogs, but when those fears become so huge that they start to affect our lives, they become a phobia.

 

A phobia is an extreme and sometimes irrational fear. Even though the person usually understands that it is an irrational fear and poses little or no danger, it still causes significant discomfort.

Relationships

We are in constant relationship and communication with others. Relationships, whether personal or professional, can be challenging.

 

Conflicts and disagreements can arise, which place significant pressure on relationships. Sometimes these develop into stressful, ongoing challenges.

Insomnia and Sleep

There are many reasons why a person has difficulty with sleep.

 

Some people find it hard to fall asleep, and others fall asleep but wake several times during the night. Every issue is different and requires an individual approach to get to the root cause and then develop a treatment plan to gain success.

Addictions and Habits

People can be addicted to a wide range of behaviours and or substances like coffee, tobacco, pain killers, illicit drugs, shopping, sex, and compulsive behaviours (OCB) such as excessive hand washing and nail-biting.

 

Unwanted habits and addictions often begin as ‘self-medication’ for anxiety-related issues. These habits and addictions are often used to deal with difficult thoughts or feelings as a way of coping.
